Sheldon Coates School

Sheldon Coates Elementary School is the only primary school in the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division with a current enrolment of approximately 180 students in Grades ECS – 3.  An expanded full-day Kindergarten program is in its fifth year of implementation.  Staff for the current year is comprised of eleven certified staff members and six support staff.  Parents are actively involved in the life of the school and School Council meetings are held monthly.

 The staff and students at Sheldon Coates School enjoyed Pancake and Pajama Day in April.
